Zeller scores Aussie-first with Tap to Pay launch on Android

Homegrown fintech Zeller has once again taken the lead in the financial technology sector by launching Tap to Pay on Android.

The move positions Zeller as the first locally-grown fintech to introduce this cutting-edge method of accepting contactless payments and builds on the iPhone release of Tap to Pay in October 2023, which has already seen widespread business and consumer adoption.

Tap to Pay on Android allows businesses to seamlessly accept contactless payments directly through their smartphones, utilising the user-friendly Zeller App without the need for additional hardware.
